Qatar PM, EU Envoy Explore Tech Collaborations in Regional Security Talks

Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, recently held discussions in Doha with Luigi Di Maio, the European Union’s Special Representative for the Gulf Region. The talks centered around strengthening the relationship between Qatar and the European Union, with a focus on enhancing cooperation across multiple sectors.

The meeting provided a platform for both leaders to explore ways to further develop the Qatar-EU partnership. They took the opportunity to exchange views on a range of issues that are of mutual interest, aiming to find common ground and foster deeper ties.

In addition to bilateral matters, the conversation also touched on the latest developments in the region. A significant part of the dialogue revolved around diplomatic efforts to ensure security and stability, particularly following the recent memorandum of understanding signed between the United States and Iran.
