Türkiye Urges Tech-Driven Global Response to Israel’s Advanced Strikes in Syria

Türkiye has expressed strong disapproval over recent Israeli military actions in southern Syria, labeling them as violations of Syria’s sovereignty and a threat to the stability of the region. In a statement, the Turkish Foreign Ministry highlighted that the strikes in Quneitra and Daraa infringe upon Syria’s territorial integrity and breach international law, including the 1974 Separation of Forces Agreement.

Concerns were raised by Türkiye regarding the potential humanitarian impact of these attacks, emphasizing that they could exacerbate the already dire conditions for civilians and hinder ongoing efforts to stabilize the region. Turkish officials urged the international community to take a stand against such actions, advocating for a collective effort to prevent any further escalation of tensions.

The sentiment was echoed by Communications Director Burhanettin Duran, who criticized the strikes for endangering Syria’s security and undermining long-term peace initiatives. Duran’s remarks underline Türkiye’s position on maintaining regional security through respect for national sovereignty and territorial integrity.

In its official stance, Türkiye reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Syria’s unity and sovereignty, which it considers crucial for maintaining peace and security in the Middle East. The Turkish government continues to advocate for diplomatic solutions and calls for international cooperation in addressing the ongoing conflict in Syria.
