Benjamin Netanyahu to Modi: ‘Souls Unshaken’ by Terrorist Cowardice

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sent a message of resolute strength to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, declaring their nations’ “souls” remain “unshaken” by terrorist-cowardice. The statement followed a deadly car bomb in Delhi that killed eight.
“To our dear friend Narendra Modi and to the brave people of India… we send our deepest condolences,” Netanyahu wrote, joined by his wife, Sara. He pledged that “Israel stands strong with you” in both “sorrow and strength.”
The core of his message was about resilience. “India and Israel are ancient civilisations that stand on eternal truths,” he said. “Terror may strike our cities, but it will never shake our souls.”
This message of solidarity was part of a broader Israeli response, with Foreign Minister Gideon Saar also offering condolences and support in the “fight against terror.”
The attack itself is now the subject of a major probe by the National Investigation Agency (NIA). The agency is investigating the blast as a “terrorist attack” carried out by a Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) module, according to high-level sources.
